Mooooo...

My new business cards arrived in the mail today and I am seriously loving them. I had debated about getting them but had seen others raving about moo.com and thought I might just as well jump on board and give them a try.

Moo is a UK company based in London but they've recently made it to this side of the pond and opened up shop in Rhode Island. I figured it was a sign, they're nice and close, what have I got to lose.

I didn't want to go crazy so I started out with a pack of moo mini cards; they're about half the size of a regular business card and you can put your photos on the front and business info on the back.

They're GENIOUS! They're teeny and just oh-so-cute and now I'm afraid I won't want to give any of them away. Eeek!

Prom - 2009

Allow me to gush for a minute, would you... I loved Prom. Not mine, blech, no way. This year was Samantha's prom and I had the privilege of spending an hour or so before with her, her folks and some friends documenting it for her.

We had never met before but she had asked that I come. It was an honour to capture this special time in her life. She's as beautiful on the inside as on the out and her date was beside himself when he was with her.

Gosh, I hope that's not all too corny. ;-)

We met up at Public Gardens in Halifax along with the majority of the residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality - or at least it seemed that way! Although we purposely got some shots with crowded backgrounds so you could see the craziness, we still managed to find a few spots out of the way where we could do our thing.

Here are a few shots of the evening (as usual, click on the photo to see the larger version) and, of course, a link to the slideshow...

Hello, gorgeous - the eyes kill me (click, you'll see what I mean)...

Samantha and one of her girlfriends showing off their beautiful corsages...

Favourite...

Samantha, I know your Mom likes the pictures (is she still crying when she sees them? I hope that's a good sign) but I hope you're pleased with the shots we got as well. I had fun traipsing all over Public Gardens looking for just the perfect spot.

I hope you and your crew had fun at the prom, and I wish you all the best as you begin this next journey in your life. I sincerely hope we get another chance to work together in the future.
